Here's an internal email describing the folding of citisolutions and (uh-oh) their intention of starting a new company!

Hello Superstars,
I know we have been rather silent on e mails,although we have been giving a weekly update conference call with your RVPs.
As all of you know by now Citisolutions is no longer doing business in the UK. We are saddened by this but also feel that the future is bright! As Andrew Carnegie says in his book on How to raise your own salary "With every adversity there is a seed of an equivalent benefit." It is hard to see the positives when things are not what you want or expect. I am sure all of you have had life experiences where you were disappointed or even grieved over the challenges in your life. All of us have had these rather depressing moments, and yet life seems to move on! We sometimes forget that to have a great testimony we must first have the TEST.(Then the mony or money comes!)
So, what is the toughest thing you have ever had to endure? What is the biggest trial of your life so far? How did you come through the test of leadership and vision? Did you crumble in the midst of adversity or face the challenges head on? Now is your time to come through victoriously.

I think back to my early childhood when both my parents died and how that made me realise life is not always fair. I think back to spending 2+ years on the streets of Chicago as a teenager and coming through it all.
I think back to my 30+ years in the financial industry and things did not always go smoothly and now I think back to August 2003 when we moved to the UK as one of the founders of Citisolutions. Our hearts were excited with the buzz of new opportunity and yet a little scared of failing too. We sold our home,cars and all of our household goods and moved to London with our clothes and a laptop. We knew no one other than Bob Safford Jr. & Sr. and a few of the head office employees.Was it a bit scary and uncertain ? Yes !
That fear and the goal of success drove us on to become the 3x MVP in the company and we did that through an awesome team effort. These same skills, determination and team effort is what will propel the new company into a thriving success.
We have all the key elements for success that we had in August 2003, but one huge thing we have now is you! We have a team of leaders already trained and who know the Superstar system. That is why we have decided to stay in the UK and build a new agency.
Quite honestly, it would be easier to go to the south of France and retire or back to the US amongst old friends and settle into a stable life.But we have asked ourselves a question. What is the right thing to do ? Where do we want to be in 3-5 years from now? and do we really believe we can accomplish what we came here to do? To build a dynamic ,successful and thriving marketing team helping countless people across the UK to become Financially free.I believe more than in August 2003 that it is possible.I also know each of you in the company of Citisolutions are the salt of the earth ! The best of the best !
The last 4 weeks have been quite enlightening on the potential of putting together a new agency dealing in the areas of financial planning and helping the British public to realise their dreams of financial independence. I am more convinced now than ever of the possibilities of this happening. It will do no good to surmise or analyse why Citisolutions failed here in the UK.(If the horse you are riding is dead...dismount) Although, we can learn what works and what does not work and take lessons from our predecessors (both good and bad).
Lets be grateful for them bringing us here to the UK or we never would have met. Now the choice is ours as to the future.
After 4 weeks of investigation with lawyers, Chartered accountants, experts in dealing with the FSA,Insurance,Mortgage & Investment companies I am convinced we can do this. The task is a bit daunting and certainly gives me a greater appreciation for the time,effort,energy and resources that Citi put into the project of Citisolutions.
It has also opened up our eyes as to the possibilities of what we can do when we are the ones in control of the decisions. 4 weeks ago I was not very hopeful as to the possibilities of a new company. Now, after hours invested & all the investigation being done we are ready to move forward with the FSA filing and wrap up our negotiations with the companies.

Here are a few things you need to be made aware of, if you wish to be with the new company.(We are almost there on a name.)

1) There will be new IBA's and £140 fee (we have to do credit checks,CRB,etc as a new co.) The IBAs are being drafted and we should have them by the middle of July or sooner.
2) Form A's need to be filled out and submitted soon for all securities licensed reps who already have SII1 or CEFA 1. We would like to have these by July 1. All RVPs should have the details on this.
Over the summer would be a good time to get your securities license done (before we do a kickoff).If you have an interest in getting this done please speak to your RVP for further details.
3) We are planning some launch parties at the end of July or beginning of August. We are also planning product training classes for end of August.

Have you ever heard the expression "It was a blessing in disguise?" That is what I believe this has been and in the years to come we will look back on this time in our lives as just that!
As we told you just a few short weeks ago we would do all the investigating and give you a full report...good or bad. We see nothing bad at all. In fact everything looks positive. Are there obstacles and alot to do? Yes! But the team of Bob Safford Jr.,Steve Jenkins and myself see nothing but positives.
We still have Compliance,IT,head office set up, funding issues and the list can make you dizzy. The good news is we are going to do it! So, get ready. If necessary go get a job to make money and meet some new people and pick up new skills over the summer, but get ready the Tsunami of a new company coming is in the winds and you are going to be one of the new founders!

Primerica Convention was HOT!!

The Georgia Dome was packed out with over 60,000 Primerica representatives from all over North America, Spain and even representatives from Primerica shutdown operation Citisolutions in the UK attended!

There were many notable speakers there including Charles Prince, former CEO and chairman of Citigroup. The founder of Pre-Paid Legal Service Inc, Harland Stonecipher and even the Governer of Georgia Sonny Purdue.

The Primerica Covention 2007

The Primerica convention is in August and its gonna be awesome. The Primerica convention is held once every two years in Atlanta, USA and Primerica expect 70, 000 people to attend from all over North America and Spain! Ashame the UK Primerica (Citisolutions) obviously won't be there :(.

Do the Maths...

So you got a big super saturday event coming up it is being arranged by your NSD (National Sales Director), and there's going to be lots of Primerica legends speaking maybe even a few ISD's (International Sales Director). There are only 500 seats so you better buy your tickets fast.

Tickets are $20.00 each, if you buy 10+ tickets the price drops to $15.00 each, you are going to have more than 10 potential recruits attending right! Good because you need at least 10 guests to be sucessful in this business... OK 10 tickets thats $150.00 buddy, cash is fine...

Hall Rent - $1000

Ticket sales £15 x 500 + $7500

Citisolutions - Citisoluciones -Primerica is History in the UK

The announcement has only been made internally on Friday the11th of May 2007. It is believed that Citisolutions Financial (UK) Ltd have decided to pay off (only some of there) existing associates and pull out of the UK market completely. Citisolutions.net now only shows address for contact, all previous information that was on their website has been removed including the Citigroup logo!

There is much speculation to why Citisolutions truly shut shop. One of the reasons is that many agents were pushing their products as instructed on friends and family, who than cancelled, but too many associates disappeared so clawback was impossible and the company was simply losing money... approximately 30% of Citilife insurance policies sold stayed on the books, which is an appalling number! Basically they could not control the quality of sales (not surprising considering practically everyone could sign up when they had paid their £140)

It is unsure what will happen with existing clients with life policies, investments with the company. Assuming, as they were placed with other Citigroup companies, clients have nothing too worry about as such.

This clip is awesome as it's just a normal guy giving his genuine opinion about the Primerica / Citisolutions opportunity meeting.

Primerica agents should not even be calling up people on job sites like Monster, it's against the Primerica's / Citisolutions policy. There have been so many complaints from people getting cold called through job sites like Monster and being misled into thinking they are going to a job interview and then realising it is a self-employed, commission-only MLM business opportunity. Citisolutions agents were also prospecting through job sites like CV libary who took action and banned Citisolutions from using their site! Evidence of this can be found on many job sites 'No 'Network Marketing', 'Work from home', FLPs/Citisolutions. Accounts of this nature will be terminated without refund' . I've had emails regarding this matter and one guy from Canada claimed he got called thirteen times in a week from Primerica agents trying to recruit him, I am assuming they were calls from different Primerica agents! You can't blame these job sites for banning Primerica/Citisolutions as hundreds of Primerica agents are on a mission to recruit anyone and there is no end to there recruitment plans, it is bound to upset the job seekers.
